From the Author’s Desk

“Tomorrow is an untold tale,
Our life a book of this tale!
Yet the pages do turn by,
And unfold the mystery that lies there by!
What is the past but for today’s yesterday!
What is the present but for tomorrow’s yesterday!”

All I intend to say is, we are so much bothered about the future that we often neglect the past, which in turn has actually shaped our present and will affect our decisions today, which will go on to shape our future! It is also unwise to retrospect and waste the precious present, but the fact that if the past is completely forgotten then the same mistakes are bound to happen again and again!! As it is very well said ‘History repeats itself but the price doubles!’

It is indeed very frustrating to pass down information from generation to generation! Every individual is bound to add or subtract matter out of the stories or history handed down over ages. Besides it is very tough for people (and especially me) to understand the relations in any family like who is ones mothers’ sisters’ husbands brother. It is also important that great achievers of the family should not be forgotten their sacrifice and blessings of yesterday is what has made the today we live in bright and beautiful. There are numerous heirlooms handed down from generations which reflect a lot about the family then.

All this I hope to bring together in this website. I hope that the website tweaks the interest of the present generation and they realize that the lives of their ancestors were as colorful and exiting, maybe more! And not black and white as historical records seem initially. This website is my tribute to my family and the infinite sacrifice of my ancestors because of whom I enjoy the liberty; freedom; social, financial and emotional stability to undertake this endeavor. I hope the books and the website will guide boys and girls of my generation to understand their family and take inspiration from their achievements!!

This website is also a beautiful way in which people who want to know about the family can get to do so without intruding the family privacy!

I conclude with a pledge, “This is but a seed and I have a vision that a day to come this will branch out and become a huge tree, for which I will strive till the day my part on this Stage of Life is over!”
